SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
This bill appropriates $180.0 to the Board of Regents of Eastern New Mexico University for the purpose of expanding the instructional television microwave system by extending three-channel microwave programming to Artesia and providing upper division and graduate level courses to residents in that community.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $180.0 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY00 shall revert to the general fund.
OTHER SUBSTANTIVE ISSUES
According to the CHE, this project has been recommended for capital outlay funding and is significantly needed.
