SUMMARY



Synopsis of Bill



Senate Bill 49 provides a general fund appropriation to LGD for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 to study the feasibility of constructing a special events center in the city of Albuquerque.



FISCAL IMPLICATIONS



The bill makes a general fund appropriation of $200.0 for expenditure in fiscal year 2000. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 reverts to the general fund.



OTHER SUBSTANTIVE ISSUES



According to LGD, the proposed project is included in the Local Infrastructure Capital Improvement Plan (ICIP).
