Your ENERGY AND NATURAL RESOURCES COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE JOINT MEMORIAL 8

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 12, strike "PREPARE" and insert in lieu thereof "CONSIDER".

2. On page 1, line 13, after "AND" insert "ANY PERTINENT PROCEDURAL".

3. On page 2, strike lines 6, 7, 8, and 9 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof:

"WHEREAS, it is vital to the economy of the state of New Mexico for businesses to be able to expand, to open new facilities, to hire new employees, and to avoid delays in the processing of required permits for business operations; and".

3. On page 2, line 15, strike "appropriate committee" and insert in lieu thereof "legislative finance council".

4. On page 2, line 19, strike "prepare" and insert in lieu thereof "consider".
