Your CONSUMER AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE MEMORIAL 28

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 11, strike "COURTS, CORRECTIONS AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE" and insert in lieu thereof "APPROPRIATE LEGISLATIVE INTERIM".

2. On page 2, lines 14 and 15, strike "courts, corrections and criminal justice committee" and insert in lieu thereof "appropriate legislative interim committee with jurisdiction over juvenile justice issues".

3. On page 2, line 18, after the comma, insert "teen court programs, tri-county red ribbon education students, students against destructive decisions,".

4. On page 3, line 1, strike "legislature make recommendations" and insert in lieu thereof "appropriate interim committee with jurisdiction over juvenile justice issues make recommendations to the legislature".

5. On page 3, line 16, strike "courts, corrections and criminal justice committee" and insert in lieu thereof "appropriate legislative interim committee with jurisdiction over juvenile justice issues".
