Mr. Speaker:

Your TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 2

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 16, before the period insert "OR FOR CORRECTIVE ACTION TO ADDRESS LEAKING UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANKS".

2. On page 2, between lines 8 and 9, insert the following new paragraph:

"(3) for costs, payments or other expenditures related to actions or programs to protect the public health, safety, welfare and environment from pollution of ground water as a result of leaking underground storage tanks;".

2. Renumber the succeeding paragraphs accordingly.,

and thence referred to the TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE.
