Fiscal Highlights, 2018 General Appropriations Act

With stronger revenues, the Legislature passed, and the governor signed, a $6.37 billion spending plan for FY19, 4.3 percent more than the current year, that boosts pay for state and public school employees, increases the budgets of public schools and the judiciary, and puts the state on sound financial footing.

General Fund Tracking Through December 2017

December recurring revenues were up more than 27 percent from the same month a year ago, continuing the trend of FY18 monthly recurring revenue being consistently stronger than in FY17. Total recurring revenue for FY18 through December was $3.2 billion, up $503 million, or almost 19 percent, from the same period last year and stronger than the forecast.
